These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and any order placed on it. The site is operated by RUGLAB, registered at 26 Bailey Street, Newtown, NSW 2042, Australia, company number [À COMPLÉTER — company / registration number]. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

RUGLAB sells decorative rugs in two lines: printed rugs (dye-printed onto a low polyester pile) and hand-tufted rugs (yarn shot by hand into canvas). Each listing states which line the product belongs to. Rugs are made to order, which means production starts after your payment is confirmed.

Photographs, mock-ups and screen colours are indicative. Slight variations in colour, pile, edge finish and dimensions are normal on made-to-order textile products and are not considered defects. Stated sizes are approximate and may vary by a few centimetres.

An order is a purchase offer. It becomes a contract once we send the order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable material, or artwork we cannot lawfully reproduce.

Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never store your full card details. Your order is only produced once payment is received in full.

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude any import duties, customs fees or local taxes, which are payable by the customer where applicable. We may change prices at any time; the price applicable to your order is the one shown at the moment you check out.

Production takes approximately 5–7 business days. Delivery takes approximately 10–15 business days after dispatch. These times are estimates, not guarantees: customs processing, carrier delays and peak periods can extend them. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

You are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address. Costs caused by an incorrect address or an unclaimed parcel may be charged to you.

All content on this site — designs, artwork, photographs, text, logos and the RUGLAB name — is owned by RUGLAB or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, resell or use it commercially without our prior written consent.

When you submit artwork for a custom rug, you confirm you own the rights to it or have permission to use it, and you grant us the licence needed to produce your rug. You agree to indemnify us against any third-party claim relating to the artwork you supply. We may refuse any artwork we consider infringing, illegal or offensive.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Rugs are decorative homeware. Use a suitable underlay on smooth floors and follow the care instructions supplied with each product.

Returns and refunds are covered by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of [À COMPLÉTER — country / applicable jurisdiction]. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of [À COMPLÉTER — jurisdiction], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
